WHITE • COLOR INSPIRATION • N30

The day that I will leave for the island is getting closer, and all I see in front of me is white (and blue, but this will be the next post). Tell me, isn't white just perfect? Wherever you use it -decoration, furniture, surfaces, objects & accessories, even in food styling (look at the cake photo below, isn't it fantastic?)- the outcome is so clean and chic. If you're into white like I am, this weekend get inspired, create a new pinterest board and begin using it! Have fun!

Πλησιάζει η μέρα που θα φύγω για το νησί. Φυσικά βλέπω μπροστά μου μόνο λευκό (και γαλάζιο, αλλά αυτό θα είναι το επόμενο ποστ). Μα δεν είναι τέλειο το λευκό; Όπου και να το χρησιμοποιήσετε -στη διακόσμηση των δωματίων, στα αντικείμενα, στη συσκευασία, στις επιφάνειες, ακόμη και στο φαγητό (φανταστική η τούρτα με τα μανιταρακια;)- το αποτέλεσμα είναι πάντα άψογο. Αυτό το Σαββατοκύριακο θα έλεγα να εμπνευστείτε από το λευκό, να δημιουργήσετε έναν ''all white'' πίνακα στο pinterest, και να ξεκινήσετε να τον χρησιμοποιείτε! καλή αρχή!

I've stumbled onto a gorgeous pink background close up cactus photo the other day. As it usually happens with pinterest, one photo led to another and soon a small collection of botanical themes was ready! Such beautiful photos, will definitely look great on any wall -would love to see them on large scale. Take a look at the illustrations of the Aestate on society6 as well, I loved these two!

Εντόπισα μια πανέμορφη φωτογραφία τις προάλλες, μια κοντινή λήψη ενός κάκτου με ροζ τοίχο για φόντο. Και όπως σθνήθως συμβαίνει με το pinterest, η μία φωτογραφία έφερε την άλλη, και σε λίγο σχηματίστηκε μια μικρή συλλογή με θέματα σ' αυτό το στυλ, που πιστεύω πως θα δείχνουν όμορφα πάνω σε οποιονδήποτε τοίχο -κάποια τα φαντάζομαι και σε πολύ μεγάλο μέγεθος, εντυπωσιακά. Ρίξτε μια ματιά και στην τελευταία φωτογραφία, τα 2 έργα του Aestate στο society6 είναι πολυ-αγαπημένα!

DECO • A HOTEL LOBBY @ POROS ISLAND

I was fortunate enough to spend three days by the sea this week, at the island of Poros. When we entered the hotel lobby, I fell in love with the furniture :-) Soft pastels, faded leather, wood, natural textures, combined with the sea breeze, made me wanna sit there instead of going to the beach! 

Την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα επισκεφθήκαμε τον Πόρο. Στο ξενοδοχείο τρελλάθηκα με τα έπιπλα του χώρου υποδοχής. Φανταστικά παστέλ, φθαρμένα δέρματα στα έπιπλα, λινά μαξιλάρια, ξύλινα γλυπτά, φυσικά υλικά, τι να σας πρωτο-περιγράψω! Αποτέλεσμα... όλοι ήταν στην παραλία κι εγώ στη ρεσεψιόν με τη φωτογραφική!
